Biography

Christian Doidge is a professional football player from Wales. He was born on December 2, 1992, in Newport, Wales. Doidge primarily plays as a striker. Doidge started his career playing for Cwmbran Celtic and Barry Town United in the lower leagues of Welsh football. In 2016, he joined the English club Dagenham & Redbridge, where he had a successful spell, scoring 21 goals in 24 appearances. His impressive performances caught the attention of Forest Green Rovers, who signed him in 2018. Doidge had two stints with Forest Green Rovers, separated by a loan spell at Bolton Wanderers. He scored over 50 goals for the club and helped them gain promotion to League Two in the 2016-2017 season. In January 2020, Doidge made a move to Hibernian FC, a Scottish Premiership club. He has continued to showcase his goalscoring abilities and has become a key player for the team. Aside from club football, Doidge has also represented the Welsh national team. He made his international debut in 2020 and has earned several caps since then.
