Denzel Dumfries is a professional football player from the Netherlands. He was born on April 18, 1996, in Rotterdam. Dumfries primarily plays as a right-back but can also play as a right midfielder. Dumfries started his professional career at Sparta Rotterdam, where he played from 2015 to 2018. During his time at the club, he impressed with his speed, strength, and defensive abilities, catching the attention of larger clubs. In July 2018, Dumfries signed for PSV Eindhoven, one of the top clubs in the Dutch Eredivisie. He quickly became an integral part of the team and was appointed captain in June 2020.
