Biography

André Silva is a Portuguese professional football player. He was born on November 6, 1995, in Baguim do Monte, Portugal. Silva primarily plays as a forward. He started his professional career at Porto in 2013, where he made his senior debut in 2014. Silva had a breakthrough season with Porto in the 2016-2017 campaign, scoring 21 goals in 44 appearances. His impressive performances caught the attention of European clubs, leading to a move to Italian side AC Milan in 2017. During his time at AC Milan, Silva struggled to replicate his Porto form, but still managed to score some crucial goals. He went on loan to Sevilla FC in the 2018-2019 season, where he enjoyed a successful spell, scoring 11 goals in 40 appearances. After returning to AC Milan for the 2019-2020 season, Silva was loaned to Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany. He impressed once again, scoring 12 goals in 25 appearances. Silva made his move to Frankfurt permanent in July 2021. Internationally, Silva made his debut for the Portuguese national team in 2016.
