Biography
Nemanja Gudelj is a Serbian professional footballer who primarily plays as a midfielder. He was born on November 16, 1991, in Belgrade, Serbia. Gudelj began his career at FK Vojvodina in his native Serbia, where he made his professional debut in 2009. He quickly established himself as one of the most promising young players in the Serbian league, attracting the attention of top European clubs. In 2010, Gudelj made a move to AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands. He spent four seasons at the club, making over 100 appearances and winning the Eredivisie title in the 2012-13 season. After his successful spell in the Netherlands, Gudelj joined Tianjin TEDA in China in 2014. He played for the club for two years before joining the Chinese Super League side, Guangzhou Evergrande in 2018. Internationally, Gudelj has represented the Serbian national team at various levels. He made his debut for the senior national team in 2013 and has since earned over 20 caps. In 2019, Gudelj joined Sevilla FC, the Spanish La Liga club, on loan from Guangzhou Evergrande. He then made his move permanent to Sevilla, signing a four-year contract with the club.
