Florentino Luis is a Portuguese professional football player who primarily plays as a defensive midfielder. He was born on August 19, 1999, in Lisbon, Portugal. Luis began his youth career at Benfica, one of the biggest football clubs in Portugal. He quickly rose through the ranks of their youth system and made his professional debut for Benfica B in the Portuguese second division during the 2017-2018 season. His performances caught the attention of the first-team coaching staff, and he was promoted to the senior squad for the 2018-2019 season.
