Tomás Araújo is a Portuguese professional football player. He was born on February 8, 2001, in Portugal. Araújo plays as a defender, primarily as a center-back. He began his youth career at FC Porto, one of the most prominent football clubs in Portugal. Araújo made his professional debut for FC Porto's B team during the 2019-2020 season, playing in the LigaPro, which is the second-highest division in Portuguese football. He quickly caught the attention of the first-team coach, Sérgio Conceição, and was promoted to train with the senior team. In December 2020, Araújo made his first appearance for the FC Porto first team, playing in a UEFA Champions League match against Olympique DE Marseille. This marked his official debut in European competition.
